Now this is a character with some 'character'. From the steel-tipped boots to the handlebar mustache, to the white streak in the hair - and not to forget his little winged 'pet', this guy screams unruly pirate.
The darn difference in colors between the various character art pictures tricked me again and the pants should have been more of a teal instead of darker green... For the most part, this mini is pretty good except his gun is a terrible sculpt and has very little detail. There is also a fairly unfortunate placement of a mold line that I wasn't able to fully fix that runs across his leading leg.Set up with Charge (blue), free melee (orange) and free move (red), this guy certainly has the capability to get himself separated from the group and get into trouble. Of course, Shove is also an option at red so it is an option to take an insurance policy and a less aggressive approach.
The homage is pretty clear to me on as being based on Peter Pan's Hook. Given the missing appendage and the 'Neverland' Habitat origin, I'm not sure what could be more applicable.
